In a bumper new year edition of Space Boffins, Sue Nelson and Richard Hollingham chat to three superb guests to hear the latest on the Webb space telescope, discuss volcanoes on distant worlds and look ahead to Europe’s mission to Mars. The European Space Agency’s Mark McCaughrean joins us to talk about the emotional launch and what’s next for the James Webb Space Telescope. We also hear from Andrew Coates from UCL's Mullard Space Science Laboratory about the ExoMars rover, Rosalind Franklin, due for launch later this year. Plus, we’re joined by Natalie Starkey from the Open University to talk about her new book on the Solar System’s volcanoes - Fire and Ice. If that’s not enough, we also have a tribute to an Apollo legend.
